After Sales Services
At Get Cargo Containers, we provide ongoing operational support after your delivery to ensure your equipment meets your long-term storage or project needs. Our post-delivery services offer clear guidelines for inspection windows, structural guarantees, and technical assistance.
1. Post-Delivery Inspection and Follow-Up
Within 48 hours of your container being unloaded, our dispatch team may contact you to verify that the unit was placed to your satisfaction. You must report any immediate concerns regarding transport damage, door functionality, or site alignment during this initial contact window.
2. 30-Day Structural Integrity Guarantee
We inspect all units prior to dispatch from our yard. To protect your investment, we offer the following short-term structural protections:
Wind and Watertight Guarantee: All units purchased under the Wind and Watertight (WWT) or Cargo Worthy (CW) classification are guaranteed to be entirely leak-free upon delivery. If you detect a structural leak within the first 30 days following delivery, contact us immediately. If the leak is verified and was not caused by site mishandling, accidents, or structural modifications, we will coordinate a field repair or a unit exchange at our expense.
Door and Rod Alignment: We verify that all locking rods, hinges, and gaskets function properly before the container leaves our depot. If doors become difficult to operate after delivery, it is typically due to localized ground settling. Our team can provide technical guidance on how to properly block and level the subbase to restore correct door alignment.
3. Routine Maintenance Guidance
To maximize the operational lifespan of your shipping container, our support department provides ongoing advisory assistance regarding:
Subbase Adjustment: Technical tips on re-leveling the container if the soil shifts or settles under the weight over time.
Oxidation Control: Product recommendations for industrial primers, touch-up paints, and elastomeric sealants to treat normal surface rust on used units.
Gasket and Seal Preservation: Maintenance guidelines for treating door rubber gaskets to preserve their weatherproofing capabilities.
4. Post-Delivery Modifications and Technical Support
If you plan to modify your container (such as adding windows, personnel doors, ventilation, or climate control) after delivery, our team can supply basic product specifications, weight tolerances, and structural dimensions via email. Please note that Get Cargo Containers does not perform third-party modifications directly, and any structural cuts or changes performed on the unit will immediately void the 30-Day Structural Integrity Guarantee.
5. Permitting and Administrative Documentation
If your local municipality, homeowners association, or commercial insurance provider requires verification documents for your container placement, our billing office can supply:
Labeled, line-item paid commercial invoices.
Standard specification and dimensional sheets for your container model.
Digital receipts detailing delivery and transport execution dates.
