Return and Refund Policy
At Get Cargo Containers, we want our customers to be confident in their purchase. Below is our clear, straightforward policy regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds, designed to meet all Google Merchant Center transparency guidelines.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the physical delivery date of your container to request a return. Requests received after this 30-day window cannot be accepted for a return or refund.
2. Return Shipping Costs and Restocking Fees
Return Shipping Fee: If you choose to return your container within the 30-day window, Get Cargo Containers will arrange for a heavy freight carrier to pick up and transport the unit from your location at no additional cost to you. Return shipping is completely free.
Restocking Fee: We do not charge any restocking fees, administrative fees, or structural inspection charges for returned items. The restocking fee is $0.
3. Return Eligibility and Item Condition
To qualify for a full refund, the container must meet the following strict logistical and physical requirements:
The container must be in the exact same structural condition as when it was delivered to your site.
No modifications of any kind (including cutting windows/doors, painting, structural welding, or electrical installations) can have been performed on the unit.
The container must be completely empty, broom-clean, and unlocked.
The unit must be fully accessible for our heavy freight tilt-bed or low-boy truck to safely enter, load, and exit your property.
You must provide a valid original order number or proof of purchase.
4. How to Initiate a Return
To start the return process, you must follow these operational steps:

Provide your name, order number, and a minimum of four clear photographs showing the current condition and accessibility of the container.
Once reviewed and approved by our logistics department, our dispatch team will contact you to schedule a specific date and time window for the freight pickup.
5. Refund Processing Timelines
Once the container has been successfully picked up by our carrier and returned to our facility for inspection, we will process your refund.
Refunds are issued exclusively back to the original payment method used during checkout.
Please allow up to 10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution's processing times.
6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your container arrives with major structural damage not disclosed in the product grade description, or if the wrong size/grade was dropped off, please document it immediately. Note the damage on the driver’s delivery receipt and contact us within 24 hours. In these instances, we will arrange an immediate replacement swap or a full refund at our expense.
7. Order Cancellations
Before Dispatch: You may cancel your container order at any time before the vehicle leaves our depot for a full and immediate refund.
After Dispatch: If you cancel your order while the delivery vehicle is already in transit to your location, it will be treated as a standard return, and you must allow the truck to arrive or coordinate the return process with our team.
