Store Policy
Welcome to Get Cargo Containers. This document governs the general terms of service, purchasing rules, and business policies between Get Cargo Containers and our customers. By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Billing and Payment Terms
We require secure and transparent payment processing for all transactions:
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and secure electronic payment methods as displayed clearly at our checkout.
Payment Execution: Your card or account will be billed immediately upon order confirmation.
Payment Security: All transactions are processed through secure, external, and encrypted payment gateways. Get Cargo Containers does not store or view your full credit card details or financial credentials.
Pricing and Currency: All prices on our store are listed in US Dollars (USD). In the rare event of a clear pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a immediate full refund.
2. Product Condition and Representation
Because we sell heavy industrial equipment, we explicitly define our product standards to prevent misunderstandings:
New Containers: Sold as "One-Trip" units. These are shipped from overseas with a single cargo load and are in excellent condition, though minor cosmetic blemishes from transport may be present.
Used Containers: Sold under standard industry grades, such as "Wind and Watertight" (WWT). Used units will exhibit varying degrees of surface rust, patches, dents, and scratches. However, we guarantee they meet the structural standards required to be completely secure against wind and rain.
Product Imagery: Photographs on our website are representative of the specific container grades. Unless a listing explicitly states that you are looking at the "actual unit," the container delivered will be a separate, functionally identical unit of the exact same grade and dimensions.
3. Delivery and Logistics Requirements
Purchasing a shipping container involves heavy freight logistics. By placing an order, you agree to the following delivery terms:
Site Preparation: The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the delivery site is flat, firm, dry, and structurally capable of supporting a heavy truck and loaded container.
Clearance and Access: You must verify that your location has adequate vertical and horizontal clearance for a large tilt-bed or low-boy delivery trailer to safely enter, maneuver, and exit.
Failed Delivery Fees: If a delivery truck arrives at your site but cannot safely unload due to hidden obstacles, unstable ground, or lack of clearance, you may be held responsible for additional dry-run or redelivery fees charged by the freight carrier.
4. Order Verification and Communication
Confirmation: You will receive an automated email receipt immediately after your order is placed. This does not mean the container has shipped; it confirms receipt of your order.
Logistics Coordination: You must provide a valid, active phone number during checkout. Our logistics dispatchers will call you directly to schedule the specific day and time window for delivery. Failure to respond to scheduling calls may cause delivery delays.
5. Governing Law
These terms, your purchase, and any business disputes arising from your interaction with Get Cargo Containers are governed strictly by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
6. Local Laws, Permits, and Zoning
Customers are entirely responsible for verifying local zoning laws, Homeowners Association (HOA) regulations, setbacks, and municipal permit requirements before purchasing a container. Get Cargo Containers is not responsible for any local fines, code violations, or structural removal orders.
7. Liability Limitations
Get Cargo Containers and its contracted transport drivers are not liable for any structural or cosmetic property damage (including cracked driveways, torn lawns, or damaged underground utilities) if the site was improperly prepared or if the driver was explicitly directed by the customer to unload in an unstable or high-risk area.
8. Policy Modifications
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time to maintain operational transparency and remain fully compliant with regional laws and Google Merchant Center rules.
