Thank you for choosing Get Cargo Containers. We are committed to delivering your shipping containers safely and efficiently. Below is our complete shipping policy, structured to give you a transparent overview of our logistics process and delivery timelines.

1. Shipping Cost

We offer free shipping on all container orders delivered within our designated service area. The price you see on the product page is the final price for delivery; there are no hidden freight surcharges or unexpected delivery fees at checkout.

2. Order Cutoff, Handling, and Transit Times

To keep your project on schedule, we process and dispatch orders based on the following timeline:

  • Order Cutoff Time: 2:00 PM (EST), Monday through Friday. Orders placed after this time will begin processing the next business day.

  • Handling Time: 1 to 2 business days (Monday – Friday). This time is used for order verification, structural inspection, and freight loading.

  • Transit Time: 15 to 18 business days (Monday – Friday). This is the actual time the heavy freight vehicle spends in transit from our closest depot to your delivery address.

  • Total Estimated Delivery Window: 16 to 20 business days from the date your payment is cleared and the order is confirmed.

3. Delivery Method and Site Requirements

Because shipping containers are exceptionally large and heavy items, transport requires specialized heavy equipment:

  • Delivery Vehicles: Orders are typically transported using a tilt-bed truck or a specialized low-boy freight trailer.

  • Site Ground Conditions: The delivery site must be flat, firm, completely dry, and capable of supporting a heavy commercial truck and the weight of the container. We cannot unload on deep mud, soft grass, or steep inclines.

  • Clearance Requirements: You must ensure your drop-off site has adequate overhead clearance (away from low-hanging tree branches, structures, or overhead power lines) and plenty of turning space for a large commercial truck to safely enter and exit.

4. Shipment Tracking and Delivery Scheduling

Once your container has been securely loaded and cleared for departure, we will send you a confirmation email containing your order details. Because freight delivery requires your presence on-site, our logistics dispatch team or the assigned freight driver will call you directly using the phone number provided at checkout to coordinate the exact day and time window for drop-off.

5. Geographic Delivery Area

We currently offer free container delivery exclusively to addresses within the continental United States (Lower 48 states). We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations. If your drop-off location is highly remote or features strictly restricted access roads, please contact us prior to ordering so we can confirm delivery feasibility with our freight network.

6. Address Modifications

For security and logistical reasons, we cannot change or modify the delivery address once a container has left our facility and is in transit with the freight carrier. Please double-check that your physical delivery address is completely accurate during checkout.

7. Delivery Inspection and Discrepancies

We inspect every unit prior to dispatch. However, you must thoroughly examine the container at the moment of delivery before the driver leaves your property. If you discover any significant structural discrepancies or damages that violate the condition grade you purchased, you must note these specific details directly on the driver's delivery receipt and contact our customer support team immediately.
